Test Engineer

Your Responsibilities:

• Characterise instrument behaviour under different measurement conditions; develop and carry out testing strategies
• Organise data collection to facilitate insights into instrument behaviour
• Work with the data science team to extract useful information from test results
• Interface with R&D scientists and engineers to translate test results into instrument improvements
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety requirements
• Prepare test reports and work with partners to achieve instrument certification

Your Profile

• Degree in a technical field
• Experience with industrial measurement instruments, preferably (time-of-flight, TOF) mass spectrometry
• A willingness to learn about TOF mass spectrometry from our in-house experts
• Experience with vacuum systems is an advantage
• An understanding of data collection and management
• Fluent in English (written and spoken), German proficiency is a plus
