      Your mission
      As part of the SWI swissinfo.ch team, your tasks will be the following:

      • Being in charge for business discovery for the Swissinfo platforms, including user needs, derivation of hypotheses and areas for improvement
      • Ensuring alignment with the Swissinfo strategy and Product Board
      • Using audience insights and KPI data to make informed decisions
      • Formulating valid business requirements in collaboration with the Tech PO as a basis for the specification
      • Preparing decision basis for the Product Board and representing the platform perspective in strategic prioritisation
      • Being responsible for the platform roadmap, prioritising initiatives according to value, impact, risk and feasibility
      • Facilitating coordination between PO formats, marketing/growth, distribution and IT for all platform-relevant issues
      • Ensuring transparency regarding status, decisions and dependencies.
      • Documenting decisions transparently and consistently
      • Attending review phase from a business perspective, ensuring correct implementation of business requirements and clearing platform development for deployment
      • Managing independently smaller projects and ensuring project office for larger projects

      Your profile

      • Established competence in business discovery (JTBD, hypothesis generation, user analysis) to derive strategically relevant requirements for platform development (Webseite, App)
      • High level of understanding of technical development of media products and platforms
      • Ability to merge platform logic with content, UX, tech and growth requirements
      • Ability to formulate business requirements in a way that enables technical PO and IT to work efficiently
      • Strong communication, facilitation and alignment skills
      • Structured documentation and decision preparation
      • Leadership skills in cross-functional teams
      • Substantial experience in project management
      • Proactive, structured, reliable
      • Strong communication skills and confident in dealing with different stakeholders
      • Team-oriented, at the same time able to drive tasks forward independently
      • Knowledge of trends in platform development in the media industry
