      We are looking for an

      HR Generalist with a focus on Talent Acquisition (m/f/d)

      on a 6-month fixed-term contract to support our operations in Switzerland. In this role, you will act as a key interface between our employees, clinics, and management teams while driving a strategic and proactive approach to attracting veterinary talent.

      The position focuses on direct search (headhunting) and the development of talent pipelines for Veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians (ATV). The goal is to anticipate future hiring needs and build long-term talent networks in a highly competitive and multilingual market.

      As an HR Generalist, you will serve as a market expert and strategic advisor, responsible for building high-quality talent databases, maintaining ongoing relationships with relevant target groups, developing innovative talent attraction and retention strategies, and acting as a trusted partner throughout the entire employee life cycle.

      Key Responsibilities

      Direct Search & Strategic Sourcing

      Lead direct search and headhunting activities for Veterinarian and Veterinary Technician profiles, with a strong focus on passive candidates.

      Proactively identify, approach, and engage talent ahead of current hiring needs.

      Conduct talent mapping activities across Switzerland by region, specialty, seniority level, and critical functions.

      Build and maintain long-term relationships with key professionals within the veterinary market.

      Talent Database & Pipeline Management

      Create, structure, and continuously maintain strategic talent databases.

      Ensure data quality, segmentation, and traceability to support future hiring requirements.

      Utilize talent pipelines as a strategic tool to reduce time-to-hire and improve hiring quality.

      Talent Attraction & Employer Branding

      Act as an ambassador for the AniCura employer brand within the veterinary community.

      Participate in career fairs, congresses, university events, and industry-related activities throughout Switzerland.

      Communicate a compelling employee value proposition focused on professional development, clinical excellence, company culture, and learning opportunities.

      Innovation in Talent Acquisition

      Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies and recruitment channels.

      Collaborate with clinics and veterinary hospitals to create initiatives that differentiate AniCura within the Swiss market.

      Analyze market trends and continuously adapt recruitment strategies accordingly.

      Stakeholder Collaboration

      Work closely with clinics and veterinary hospitals to understand hiring needs and role requirements.

      Act as a trusted advisor to managers by providing guidance on market conditions and recruitment strategies.

      Collaborate with the global Talent Acquisition team to ensure consistency, alignment, and best practices.

      Swiss Labor Law & General HR Responsibilities

      Demonstrate strong knowledge of Swiss labor law.

      Draft and prepare employment contracts and various HR-related documents in accordance with Swiss labor legislation.

      Work closely with our clinics and provide support on general HR topics.

      Serve as a reliable and knowledgeable advisor to clinics regarding Swiss labor law matters.

      Ensure, maintain, and continuously improve onboarding processes and succession planning initiatives.

      Foster and maintain strong employee relations.

      Required Profile

      Experience

      Minimum of 5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition and/or as an HR Generalist, ideally within healthcare, clinical environments, pharmaceuticals, or other specialized industries.

      Proven experience in direct search and proactive sourcing.

      Experience recruiting veterinary or healthcare professionals is highly desirable.
